Vibrantly green and lustrous Volborthite crystals on a Dickite matrix from the famous Milpillas Mine in Mexico. The rare bladed crystals contrast exceptionally well to the bright matrix.
 
Volborthite is a hard to find phosphate mineral that occurs as a secondary mineral in vanadium-bearing hydrothermal deposits. The find from Milpillas is highly sought for its saturated colors and lustrous crystals.
