An ideal miniature cluster of glassy luster red Calcite crystals (colored by Hematite) from the famous Florence Mine in England. These long sought Calcite are well known for their bright color, but for also being damaged due to their mistreatment over the many years they have been out of the ground. Many of the pieces with luster were collected prior to the 1960s, after which they hit large quantities of water that was commonly producing more weathered crystals. The excellent condition and luster of this specimen certainly makes it a rare treasure for collectors.
