Namibia (Formerly South-West Africa) which sits on the south-west coast of Africa sits next to Botswana and above South Africa.

The country is home to an incredibly diverse series of locales and minerals. There are 749 confirmed mineral species and 105 of those are type-locality minerals.

Some of the more famous locales are; Tsumeb Mine (Click to see just Tsumeb items), known for copper secondaries; The Brandberg Area, known for high quality Amethyst and Aquamarine; and, the Erongo Mountains, known for high quality and diverse Fluorite. This short list does little to speak of the almost 600 known localities in Namibia.
