A lustrous crystalization of blue Smithsonite over matrix, this cabinet sized mineral specimen comes from the Hidden Treasure Mine in Utah. Specimens from here with good color and luster are highly sought after by collectors of the species.
 
The locality is a lead-silver-copper-zinc mine that has been closed for several decades with no known intention to continue production.
