Fluorite with Sphalerite on Baryte - Minerva #1 Mine, Cave-in-Rock, Illinois.
Approximately Measures: 11 x 9 x 7.5 cm.
This is an ideally composed specimen with an amazing series of colorful phantoms which shift from blue to purple to yellow. The fluorite has the aesthetic of resting on the strontian rich Baryte which is surrounded by gemmy orange Sphalerite crystals. There are spheres of Baryte also included into the fluorite, and one perfect Baryte shaped hole in the front where some of the Baryte was naturally etched out of. This specimen is archtecturally astonishing in aesthetic.
